PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme: India is an agricultural country. More than 50% of the population in India still makes their living on agriculture. But most of the farmers in the country are still not able to earn much profit from farming. In such a situation, the central government runs many schemes to help these farmers. One scheme is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana which was started in the year 2019.
Under this scheme, farmers are given financial assistance of ₹6000 annually. So far, the government has given an amount of Rs 3 lakh crore to a total of 9 crore farmers under this scheme. Under the scheme run by the government, farmers have to fulfill some eligibility criteria. If these people apply for the scheme, then the government will recover from such people.
Recovery from those who took benefit by making fake documents or fraud
The Government of India is now cracking down on such people who are taking advantage of schemes through fraud by using fake documents. According to the data provided by the government, the number of such people is quite high due to which the government is facing financial losses of several thousand crores. Many people are also taking advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by submitting fake documents.
And they are taking financial benefits through the scheme by committing fraud. So let us tell you that now the government will recover the money from such people and action will also be taken against such people. If someone does not fulfill the eligibility criteria of the scheme, then he should not apply for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Who cannot apply for the scheme?
The most important condition to avail the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is that no one in the farmer’s family should have a government job. If this happens then the benefit of the scheme will not be given. Along with this, if a person comes under the purview of income tax, then he will also not get the benefit of this scheme.
Or if a farmer does some other job like an engineer, lawyer, chartered accountant or something else, then he will also not get the benefit of this scheme. Let us tell you that 16 installments have been issued to the farmers under the scheme. At present, the 17th installment is awaited.
